About the photographer - During my high school and college years (UD class 1981), I spent a lot of time in a darkroom, however once I graduated and entered the business world my interest in photography fell off. It wasn’t until I purchased my first point and shoot Nikon digital camera in 2005 that I fell in love with photography again. The capabilities of digital photography from cameras to software just amazed me (and still does). At the urging of a friend in Oct. 2006, I began shooting I-AA college football for the web site
http://www.collegsportingnews.com. In January 2007, a friend of mine in the photo services department at the U of D saw some of my work and hired me to shoot Delaware sports. Digital photography is my passionate hobby, as by day I’m a banker at Wilmington Trust. My inventory of equipment has now expanded to three Canon digital bodies and 12 lenses. In addition to shooting for the University of Delaware and CSN, my images have also appeared in Delaware Today magazine.
My photographic interests go beyond sports. If you would like to see my other work including portraits, animals, scenic destinations, etc. please go to my personal photography web site
http://www.MarkCamPhotos.com The photo above is me shooting the biggest upset in college football history - Appalachian State at Michigan - my biggest thrill!
Go Hens!
Sincerely,
Mark Campbell
